The United Kingdom government recently introduced legislation requiring internet sites containing adult material to verify the age of their users.

Although SBG is not a commercial site, much of the content displayed here is of an adult nature. Therefore following this change, we have been looking into this matter in order to determine how to we can comply with these regulations.

A number of adult sites have responded to the legislation by blocking access to their sites by users within the United Kingdom. However, following the decision this week by the United States Supreme Court, opening the way for various states to effect legislation requiring adult verification, it appears that a requirement for adult verification will soon become the norm.

Therefore, please note that Sore Bottom Guys will shortly be installing technology requiring users to verify their ages.

Sore Bottom Guys is not a commercial enterprise, but a free to access site. We do not sell adult material, and full length adult videos etc. can not be downloaded or viewed directly on this site. Therefore, we have taken the view that a simple to use technology, which causes minimal inconvenience to our visitors, will be appropriate. However, we regret the inevitable inconvenience this will cause.
