The Mask is based on a comic book concept by Mike Richardson and Mark Badger that originally appeared in “Dark Horse Presents”. The main character was homicidal rather than just mischievous as in the Jim Carey movie. It looks like this Scotsman was lucky in not encountering the original. (As much as I loved your post Bruce, I recommend that you do another one with the very same model but with a more evil Mask. Just a suggestion.)
