This piece brought back memories of an incident which occurred out in the wilderness on the Palos Verdes Peninsula near L.A. several decades ago. The P.V.P. City Council had just passed an ordinance banning nude sunbathing & the L.A. Sheriffs Dept. was eager to enforce it. Deputies laid in wait under the bushes in the woods ready to pounce. The nude sunbathers made the mistake of attempting to resist & refused to get dressed. The deputies grabbed their clothes & marched them naked up the trail to the parked police cars occasionally hitting their asses with truncheons along the way.
